Auto Crane Rolling Out New NS3 At NTEA 2016

Auto Crane releases the new NexStar III – you can see the new system at NTEA 2016 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The new NexStar III control system from Auto Crane utilizes state-of-the-art wireless technology to increase the functionality and ease of use for hydraulic cranes in the service truck industry.

Auto Crane co-developed the new pistol grip transmitter providing ergonomic design factors that make the unit easy to adapt.

The advanced wireless technology includes 2.4 GHz communication — this provides the necessary performance for demanding applications such as load torque limiting in crane applications, while simultaneously performing all other necessary functions for the working and drive hydraulics.

Compared to other crane control systems, the NexStar III offers the ability for mechanics to set their preferred control mode with a range of speeds.  Whether mechanics opt for the traditional toggle switch-like control with a proportional trigger or the ultimate in independent control four functions, each mechanic is sure to find a mode that suits the job.  Fleet managers also get the benefit of a higher level of safety … .

The transmitter exceeds the demanding conditions of the mechanic work environment.  The unit is rated for IP66 protection against water spray and dust penetration as well as shock, vibration, salt spray and electromagnetic radiation.

NexStar III builds on proven crane control and offers an easy transition to upgrade existing NexStar model cranes.
